Florida Medicaid works along with Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance).
You have to pay for small amounts of coinsurance and deductibles in Medicaid.
Medical assistance (MA) is the Florida’s Medicaid program jointly funded by federal and state funds. It is managed by the Florida Department of Human services. You can apply for this program through local county human service offices.
