Illinois’s Medicare is health insurance program which covers mostly your health care costs run by Federal government.
1) Citizens of age 65 and above
2) Some young below 65 years of age suffering from certain disabilities
3) People of any age who are suffering from End Stage Renal Disease(permanent kidney failure)
Illinois Medicare consists of Part A and Part B
Original Medicare and the Medicare Advantage Plan are the two ways to get the Medicare coverage.
Medicare Part A is free mostly to all people without premium. The payment schedules are usually decided by Medicare. The organization providing health care is not permitted to charge more than the approved amount by Medicare. Some people have Part A and some have both Part A and Part B. Original Medicare compensates the payment for visit to any hospital, clinic or health care provider accepting Medicare services. The approved share is paid by Medicare and the remaining cost has to be bared by the person.
